Blueberry & Oats Applesauce Muffins

Adapted from Better Baby Food "Oat Bran Applesauce Muffins" (p. 139)

Preheat oven 350 degrees F
Line 12 cup muffin tin with paper or grease

1 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup oat bran*
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 vegetable oil
1 cup applesauce
1 egg
1 cup blueberries

In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. In a measuring cup, stir together applesauce, oil and egg. Stir in blueberries. Add to dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fill muffin tin to almost full and bake for 15 minutes.

*I used ground oatmeal-pulse regular oatmeal in blender-which i also use for baby cereal.
